## What this listing is

Welcome Pickups is a service where you book a local driver in advance. Its Barcelona page is built around the airport pickup, and adds paid extras such as sightseeing rides and day trips that you book with the same driver. You pay the partner when you book; this page only describes what the listing shows.

## What the pickup includes

The page lists four things with the airport pickup: local English-speaking drivers, a flat pre-paid fee that it says is equivalent to a taxi from the rank, flight monitoring for delays, and 24/7 customer support with flexible cancellation. It also says you can pre-order SIM cards and Wi-Fi hotspots, skip-the-line tickets and local souvenir boxes after you book.

## Services and prices shown

On 8 October 2026 the Barcelona page showed these services:

- Additional hour of sightseeing added to a transfer: 60€ for 1-4 people - Chauffeur service with a local driver: 66€ per hour - Private airport transfer with a 1-hour city highlights ride: 125€ up to 8 people - The Best of Barcelona in 2 hours (11 stops): 165€ up to 8 people - Barcelona by Night tour (14 stops): 235€ up to 8 people - Half-day sightseeing (14 stops): 290€ up to 8 people - Private half-day tour to Blanes: 460€ up to 8 people

Day-trip options from the city include Montserrat, Girona, Tarragona, Figueres and the Costa Brava. Prices are in euros as the page states them, and most are per vehicle for up to eight people, so a group splits the cost. A chauffeur hour is charged per hour.

## How to read the prices

The airport pickup itself did not show a fixed price on the page we read; it is quoted after you enter passengers and luggage in the booking form for Barcelona Airport. Compare the quote with a taxi and with the airport train, since the listing itself points to the taxi fare as the benchmark.

## When it fits

It suits arriving late, travelling with children or heavy bags, or turning the ride into a short first look at Barcelona with the same driver. If you land early and have only a backpack, public transport may be simpler.
