## What this page is
This is Klook's hub for Japan's bullet trains. Instead of one route it lists six popular journeys with their travel times and starting prices, and lets you search any pair of stations. The page calls Klook an official Japan Railway partner and says it is trusted by millions of travellers with more than 70,000 reviews; those are Klook's claims.
## The six routes on the page
When we read it, the page listed these journeys, each with the first and last departure of the day:
- Tokyo to Osaka: 2 hours 14 minutes, from US$87.79 - Tokyo to Kyoto: 2 hours, from US$84.30 - Osaka to Hiroshima: 1 hour 1 minute, from US$47.29 - Tokyo to Shin-Aomori: 2 hours 38 minutes, from US$97.05 - Tokyo to Sendai: 1 hour 24 minutes, from US$62.05 - Tokyo to Nagoya: 54 minutes, from US$33.45
Prices are starting prices and change with date, train and seat.
## Why people book this way
Klook lists four conveniences: skipping the ticket machines by scanning a QR code for most routes, reserved luggage space with seats for oversized bags, changing the time in the app, and paying in your own currency before you travel.
## About the train itself
The page explains that the Shinkansen has run since 1964, reaches up to 320 km/h and is known for punctuality, with average delays of a few seconds. Seats come in Ordinary, Green Car and the more luxurious Gran Class, and the trains have power outlets and free Wi-Fi, according to the page.
## What to check
The hub does not state the change or cancellation fees, and QR boarding is described for most routes only. Open the route you want and read its conditions before paying.
## When it fits
It suits planning a Japan itinerary with several legs, since you can compare journey times and starting prices side by side before choosing a specific route.
